When to replace your boiler
You should consider replacing a boiler which is 10 year old or more, as new boilers are much more efficient and will provide considerable savings in energy use, and will be more responsive and have more features than your old boiler. And of course, as your boiler ages it becomes more likely to break down.
However, even if you have a newer boiler, it may be worth considering a replacement if the old boiler is of a cheaper and less efficient design. We can advise on all options including any government grants for boiler replacement.
Power flushing
If your heating system is not performing quite as well as it did, consider having it flushed. Over time, radiators and pipes can get partially blocked with dirt, sludge and rust, and this prevents the water circulating properly. All our flushes are carried out by qualified tradespeople, and are very reasonably priced.
